Delete your Nusafa account

This page is for the Nusafa app and the Nusafa website, published by Galaxims Technologies LLC. Deleting an account is permanent. We cannot bring it back afterwards.

Delete it in the app

1. Open Nusafa on your Android phone.
2. On the home screen, tap Account.
3. Under Delete my account, type delete my account and tap the button.
4. Confirm, then sign in with Google once more. We ask for that so nobody else can delete your account from an unlocked phone.

Delete it on the website

Sign in to your account on this site, open Settings, and use Delete my account. The steps are the same: type the phrase, then confirm.

Ask us to do it

If you cannot sign in, email [email protected] from the address on your account, with the subject “Delete my Nusafa account”. We will delete the account and reply to confirm.

What is deleted

• Your reminders and their history.
• Your households, shared lists and invitations.
• Your private details, including the encryption key that protects them.
• Your sign in. Reminders scheduled on your phone are cleared when you delete from the app.

What is not deleted

• Your subscription to the Nusafa email dispatch, if you have one. It is separate from your account. Use the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to us and we will remove it.
• Copies in routine backups kept by our database provider, which are overwritten on their normal schedule.
